The Great Flood Catastophe

14 Feb

It’s my personal belief that music solves everything. The way it creates such bliss in your life is something that I will probably never understand, but then again, I don’t think it’s for us to understand. More like, we should just accept some things and let it cure us. I come across many artists/bands each day that capture my heart. Their lyrics flood my mind with memories of better times, their voices make the hairs on my body rise. Some days, I just want to listen to music that will get me moving. I don’t know about you, but there is nothing worse than waking up to something soothing…it really just makes me want to go back to sleep. A band that I love waking up to is The Great Flood Catastrophe. If you haven’t heard of them, than you’re missing out on some great stuff. Currently living in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Sam Brown, Aaron Bushong, Sam Baker, Ryan Hart, and Seth Baker, have made it their mission to captivate audiences with their sound. Their newest release, an EP titled “China” was released in 2010 and has many fans craving for more. Recently, the guys got together to answer some questions for the site. I was ecstatic to the chance to get to know more about this local Indiana band.

Here is one of my favorites, Say What You Do.
